Santa Barbara Zoo

The Santa Barbara Zoo is located on 30 acres near the ocean in Santa Barbara, California. It was built on the site of what was known as the Child Estate. The zoo has been ranked numerous times as one of the nation’s best small zoos. The Santa Barbara Zoo is also a great size for kids who might be overwhelmed by the sprawling Los Angeles Zoo (this one is 30 acres, while the LA Zoo is 133). Although the Santa Barbara Zoo is smaller than LA’s, it’s better kept, less packed with crowds of people, the weather is nicer and it’s a more pleasant experience overall. Definitely good for little kids. There are many lawns/parks where kids can run around, or you could throw down a blanket and enjoy a picnic.

“They’re truly a pleasure to work with!”

“They’ve helped multiple family members. In one case they took quick action due to the home being vacant and used as a drug house. They closed escrow in 10 days even though there was fire damage. In another case they closed quickly and then allowed my family member who lived out of state some time after the closing to remove some sentimental family pieces. They’re truly a pleasure to work with!”
